Can't see the rainbow

My latest (and last for the term) assignment. It's supposed to be a skin design but what the heck...

Did entirely with brushes and other crap on photoshop CS3. Also, used tribal brushes from .

This was what I wrote about her, a small portion of my writeup. I have completely no idea what's the writeup for. Apparently, it's to help those blunderers get more marks in their english than in the actual work...

"Theme
The theme I chose for this assignment was ‘Hair’. I wanted to bring out the vividness of colour and the flow of waves in hair for this skin design. I chose my original character, Alere, for the design. In her original design, her hair was originally black. However, I tapped on the fact that she is a demon in human form and gave her hair as bright as the rainbow. But despite her bright hair, she is in fact feeling the opposite. This skin is for the ‘emo’ people, who need to open their eyes to the better things in life."

Now, this was much better than the previous piece of crap. *dies*
